Whistle

After over 20 hours of practicing and a few hours researching, I have taught myself how to whistle. Many of these hours were during drive time to and from school, in case you were wondering. The whistle my mouth produces is still small and weak and sounds somewhat like a blow whistle, but it is a WHISTLE! I imagine that within time I will be able to whistle a tune among the best of them.

Snap Capp

A neat little invention I discovered the other day was the Snap Capp. Because I love can pop, this creation fits into my life very well. The device basically turns a can into a bottle when snapped onto the can. It helps prevent the beverage from going flat to quickly and also gives the can a twist-on cap to prevent spilling! I highly recommend it.

Side note: I especially like how the website features the many colors you can get so that every drink has a matching capp.

Home

This weekend my entire family was home at the same time! It was so much fun to spend the weekend laughing, playing, and eating! We got to meet a couple of Gabe's friends and Grandma & Grandpa Schurr even came down for the afternoon on Monday. The guys did a lot of blowing stuff up and shooting animate and inanimate objects while we girls spent most of our time cooking and playing with Kendrick. After the stressful week I had, family time was a much needed break.
